Nigerian Jailed 10 years for impregnating 14-year -old daughter in Accra

A Nigerian ICT Technician, Jim clifford Edward, who impregnated his daughter at Santa maria in Accra, has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by an Accra circuit court.







Edward is said to have defiled the victim at age of nine until December 26



The victim age now 14 is currently five months pregnat.



Edward"s wife is said to have abandoned her home after developing some mental ailment. Edward wife left home when their last child was two months old

Charged with defilement and incest, Edward pleaded guilty.

The court presided over by Mrs.Ruby Adjeley Quaison sentence Edward to 10 years on the charge of defilement and five year on the charge of incest. Sentence are to run concrrently.
